Science takes flight at the Oakland County Fair during our annual Rocket Launch! Watch youth-designed and built model rockets soar as exhibitors put months of creativity, engineering, and problem-solving into action. Rocket launches follow the National Association of Rocketry Safety Code and showcase the exciting intersection of science, technology, and imagination. Whether you're a future engineer or simply love seeing rockets blast off, this is a fun event for all ages. Rocket launch is weather permitting and takes place Thursday from 8:00–10:00 AM in the Back Parking Lot.
