2018 Fair Royalty Update

Superintendent- Maryann Floyed

Fair Royalty program is all new for 2018! It will consist of Fair King, Queen, Prince, & Princess. After June 1st there will be an organizational meeting for all candidates to attend. At this meeting all candidates running for royalty will be given a sash labeling them as a royalty candidate.

Royalty candidates will wear the sash at pre fair set ups, work bees, and activities related to or during the 2018 Oakland County Fair. This will include the list in the fair book but not limited to that list. During all activities there will be secret judges around to observe how the candidates interact with others, their willingness to help fellow youth, be a mentor, converse with adults, knowledge of fair, projection of one’s self image, and have fun! We want you to be yourself. Do the things you need to get done all the while you are being an ambassador for the Oakland County Fair.

These scores will be added to your the application scores and tallied for final results to be

announced at royalty crowning.

If you have any questions regarding anything related to royalty they should be directed to the Superintendent Maryann Floyed and she will be able to help you.
