Home Grown Animal Definition
- The mother of the animal must be owned by the exhibitor, immediate family or grandparent.
- The exhibit must be born and live on the exhibitor's family or grandparent's own property.
- The exhibit must have the premises ID tag for that property.
Pre-junior exhibitor Market Animal eligibility
Exhibitors must be 8-21 years of age to enter market livestock exhibits and must follow each specific species rules, dates and times in Departments 4, 6, 8, 10,11, 12 and 14. In addition
, Pre-Junior Exhibitors (ages 5-7) are allowed to enter and sell one lot from Department 11, Divisions 12 or 14 and must follow each of the specific poultry or rabbit rules, dates and times. This supersede information on pages 44 (Dibision 12) and 45 (Division 14) in the Fairbook.
